Most details for this aircraft are undisclosed as the aircraft is 6th/7th gen and Long Band Radar immune.

Lighthorse is a different breed of small ucav's, which it can operate in complete stealth undetected by any system in existence. This means highly tactical deep incursion capabilities without risking expensive assets and is expendable if need be.

 

The twin micro turbine version is still quite loud and can be heard a mile away, but the twin EDF version is much quieter and provide no heat signature either.

Like it's larger models, Greyhorse and Lighthorse, it is a highly advanced aircraft, scaled down for forward operations.   It can take off conventionally from any back road, paved road, grassy area, etc.  It can also be launched by a mobile launcher, or sling shot launched.

This is because of the oversized wings, which in slow flight the aircraft's lift capacity is similar to a glider. Which means a very slow flight characteristic for both take off and landing, but also ability to carry a 50-75 lbs payload, which could either be an explosive package or surveillance.

Since Lighthorse has a lower RCS compared to an F-117, no radar system can detect the aircraft. But if a Manpad (Man-portable air-defense system) were used to try and down the aircraft, onboard sensors will detect it, and the extreme maneuvering aspects will engage, defeating any manpad, as this aircraft can change heading 90° in under 1 second or any other flight dynamic traveling at 250-300 mph.

The options for packages are broad, from simple intelligence, weapons packages, through autonomous HARM offensive capabilities in which it becomes a hunter killer, flight path in a general direction (flight plan) and if it detects a missiles radar system, it will seek out and destroy the target autonomously.

Costs associated for this aircraft, an estimated production price for the aircraft itself of about $125,000 each. Additional costs for specific application usages and control packages. Which can be a modular system. So a single base aircraft, and just load what package/variation is needed for usage.
