Quintos is not a stealth ucav. It is a twin Rotax 914 Turbo, highly tactical UCAV with high performance characteristics that are ideal for ISR through high intensity attack roles. The aircraft has a lower RCS then most other props, due to the geometries involved, plus the engine nacelles are contained within the box tail, shielding the rotax's from any radar bands. Props are not stealth though, but nonetheless, lower rcs.

 

Quintos in ISR configuration maintains an endurance up to 36 hours, but in tactical missions, can carry up to 6 AGM-114's externally, or up to 1,500 LBS of ordnance both externally and internally within it's bay.

 

Operating efficiently, Quintos has a range beyond 3,000 NM, or maintain a range at low level flight of beyond 1,500 NM at maximum fuel/payload, ie MTOW.

 

By comparison, it's direct equivalent in market would be the Bayktar TB-2, which has payload capacity of only 331 LBS maximum.

Because Quintos is an advanced blended wing aircraft, it's lift capacity is greatly superior then convention aircraft, while still maintaining its high performance characteristics.

 

This also results in the ability for slow flight, of about 70-75 mph (50 mph in ISR exclusive), while maintaining its high performance characteristics for above 9+G maneuvering and attack roles, for being a light strike aircraft, at up to 270 mph level flight, but it can dive from high altitudes above 25,000ft and accelerate through 400-450 mph without risk of over stressing the aircraft.

Costs associated for this aircraft, an estimated production price for the aircraft itself of about $250000 each. Additional costs for specific application usages and control packages. Which can be a modular system. So a single base aircraft, and just load what package/variation is needed for usage.
