Discovery SSTO, normalizes low cost frequent flight to space for large payloads, making space truly economically viable with the capabilities of daily flights. For a nation or large space based corporation, maintaining a fleet of 5-10 Discovery SSTO aircraft, unlocks potential space operations on a scale never seen by humanity to date.

 

But that's not all, any entity that desires even lower costs to space for smaller payloads, without mixing multiple payloads simultaneously using Discovery SSTO, could use Raven at only 100FT length and up to 15,000 LBS payloads at a cost of $2.5 Million per launch.

Discovery, SSTO brings down the costs for launch to orbit, dramatically to below $30 million per launch of up to 70 tons.  In comparison, 66 flights for Discovery SSTO equals 1 NASA SLS launch.  That is 66 70 ton launches/flights for the price of 1 single SLS launch of the same payload weight.

 

In Comparison with SpaceX's Falcon Heavy that is 3 launches for each Falcon Heavy launch when SpaceX re-uses all boosters still. 1 Launch with new boosters is $150 Million.


Furthermore, the turn around time for Discovery SSTO from landing and ready to take off for the next flight, with a new payload is only 24 hours maximum. The aircraft is inspected, service conducted while prepping for next launch.  

 

The aircraft is entirely 6,000F thermal resistant, which average re-entry temps at their peak reach roughly 3,000F. The aircraft is designed to be able to withstand extreme stresses far beyond fighter jets, and the use of graphene extensively within the airframe results in the airframe being 33X stronger then titanium, but only a fraction of the weight.

 

Furthermore, 16,000 PSI H2 compressed, rather then liquid fuels provide an enormous energy density by up to a 90-95% weight reduction for fuel weight, which makes the aircraft extraordinarily lighter vs vertically launched rockets, which results in very rapid acceleration and less energy required to reach exit velocities reaching beyond 16,000 mph ground speed approaching LEO and able to reach Geo Stationary Orbit with no external booster additions. And using compressed Oxygen at 16,000 PSI also provided an enormous volume of oxidizer when oxygen becomes to low for the scramjet engines to continue positive combustion and transitions to zero atmosphere operation.
