Blackjack, H Model is a very high performance 2 passenger eVTOL personal air vehicle.  Capable of cruising up to 250 kts (250mph ground speed legally within the US as per FAA regulations), and easily 150 kts in urban environments. This aircraft is tailor made for the electric flight market. In unrestricted airspace or internationally that do not paralel FAA regulations, the craft can surpass 300 kts sustained.

Blackjack H is so high performance it could even do barrel rolls and back flips. But we would strongly recommend to not eat lunch beforehand if the operator decides to go aerobatic.

The flight software for this aircraft will restrict extreme maneuvering, and maintain both fly by wire via the onboard computer system, or autonomous flight via pre planned flight routes.  Which for the autonomous feature, is ideal for air taxi and commuter capabilities, since the operator can just select the plan, push GO, and the craft will start, takeoff, fly to the destination and land autonomously. 
 

It is equipped with side sticks for both passengers, so at any time during autonomous flight, it can be revert to manual flight.

 

The airframe for Blackjack H, is mostly of a composite Graphene structure, which is 33X stronger then titanium but onyl 1/50 the weight. The superstructure for nacelle mounting, is a combination of composites and metals, that are able to operate above 9G's, which greatly exceeds the FAA's regulations for type certification in the general aviation market, plus offer crush capability at 5G's.


In the event of a water impact, the craft floats, so both the passengers are safe, but the craft can be recovered easily.

Blackjack H also comes equipped with a high velocity BRS (Ballistic Recovery System) so in case of a catastrophic incident, The chute is able to deploy from 0-200 kts.

Rotor's are able to deliver 2,200+ LBS of static thrust at take off and a maximum take off weight of about 1,400 LBS (Includes 2 280 LBS Passengers), this aircraft will take off easily and the rotors can spin up further to produce up to 2,500 LBS thrust (at higher altitudes) then cycle down during forward flight. The rotors are not props, but variable pitch/articulating 7 blade rotors with IO Aircraft QUIET TECH© built in. So these rotors are quiet. They operate in the supersonic realm, but the supersonic shock is eliminated making them very quiet.

As with anyone concerned about flight, the safety features are immense. 

  • If there is a motor failure, each nacelle has 2 motors, so the other motor will take up the load of the failed motor providing several minutes to land safely..

  • If failure occurs over water, this aircraft floats, since the airframe is built as a composite ultra strong chambered airframe.

  • If catastrophic failure occurs, it is also equipped a BRS (Ballistic Recovery System), which can deploy deploy and the entire aircraft will come down safely.

Overall, every contingency is designed into this aircraft.
